Established in the year 2010, Ideal Institute of Engineering, Nadia is affiliated under MAKAUT, approved by AICTE, and recognized by UGC. The college offers five B.Tech specialisations, namely Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.

Valid scores from several state and national level entrance exams are accepted by the Ideal Institute of Technology. Entrance exam scores are compulsory for B.Tech admission. Students are selected based on their AIR/ State rank.
