IEM Kolkata MBA : Fees, Courses, Eligibility, Placement & Admission 2025

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable; their teaching quality is good, they are experienced teachers. The faculty members have excellent knowledge of their field.

Hostel: Hostels have a separate mess. Food quality is average. Hospital is nearby for any emergency.The hostel infrastructure is quite. I was a hosteller from last two years

Overall: Placements for this session in 2024 are below average, considering the current job market situation. But I state that it actually gives good placements compared to other colleges that compete. This year, the overall placement rate may reflect the cautious hiring approach adopted by many companies. Infrastructure: I'm a day scholar, so I can't verify this. But I have heard from my friends that it is not that bad. They are affordable and comfortable. Good value for the hostel feels like you pay. Good Wi-Fi connectivity on campus. This ensures students have seamless access to online resources and digital libraries. Faculty: Decent faculty. Some pros are genuinely good and help with doubts, research, projects, and assignments. Exams are taken very often here, so you have to be on a roll all the time. Some are very invested in the success and learning of the students, focusing on areas for improvement and continuous professional development. Other: Campus life is terrible, is what I would like to add. Anyone searching for this college deserves to know this.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in my course are very good. Wi-Fi and classrooms are both available. The food quality available in the canteen is so tasty and healthy. Medical facilities are not present in my course, and sports are available.

Hostel: The Hostel facility is too good; it doesnt feel like a Hostel. Everyone is friendly, and the environment is also amazing. You will be sharing a room with a classmate in one of the residence halls while learning from all around the world.

Overall: University is an immersive learning environment that offers its students opportunities to learn both inside and outside the classroom. University has established a respectful campus culture that encourages intellectual debates, talent development, unconventional thinking, and experimentation with new ideas.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are modern and equipped with state of the art equipment, systems and infrastructure so as to provide the best possible facilities to its students, Each campus is equipped with ultra modern auditoriums, and they have very well equipped libraries that comprise of college and other text books, journals, magazines and newspapers.

Faculty: Faculty members at our university are awesome, knowledgeable, and qualified. Exams are good. The difficulty level of exams is moderate and it depends on students' level of preparation.

Hostel: college provides well-furnished and comfortable hostels for both Girls and Boys. there are single, double and triple type of rooms and Aircooler and A/C with wifi and 24 hours guard security are available.

Placement: University has a Career Guidance and Placement Cell that helps its students in developing soft skills and communication abilities. They Trains students in aptitude tests, communicative skills, interview techniques, group discussions, etc.,

Faculty: The faculty that are provided to us are very good. The teachers hold Ph.D. Degree in their subjects which means that they have very good knowledge. They always help us and guide us.

Hostel: There is hostel accommodation available for both boys and girls built for the students to experience a homely feeling and caters to all the necessities of the students. Facilities like Spacious & Clean Rooms, Modern Facilities are provided such as Automated Fans, Nice Ventilation etc.

Overall: The university is recognized for its commitment to excellence in education and its efforts to produce skilled professionals who can make meaningful contributions to society. The college gives you one of the best faculties, staff, and infrastructure. I believe that the students who graduate from this college will never walk without jobs.

Placement: Our college had not provided any placements. Students did their internships at different hospitals like Pharmaceutical Industry, Lupin, Sun Pharma, Mankind, Cyano, Pharmaceutical Pathology, etc. The top role offered was a pharmacist.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of a college plays a vital role in the development of the college as the students are now focusing on the labs, class rooms, etc while selecting a college. Our college provides all the facilities.

Faculty: The faculty was pretty friendly during class and after class. They were pretty flexible with the assignments and often levy the deadlines. They were very helpful and supportive, in general, throughout our course.

Hostel: Hostel is good but food is to be improved they are giving tea and milk in the morning and bread and daily one tiffin in the morning And also wifi is available for everyone

Overall: The college's vibrant campus life provides opportunities for every students to get engage in extracurricular activities, sports, cultural events, and student organizations. This college have good faculty member and this college are good for study for the students and this college have good infrastructure and good quality of classroom this college have smart class room for providing students to best lectures

Placement: College placements are really good, with companies like BT, Infosys, Amazon, and many more prestigious companies visiting to provide placements for the students.

Infrastructure: infrastructures of the college is so good, There is big classrooms with digital board for easily understandings, sports facilitite and ground is also available, library, hostels, medical facilites are alos availbale.

Faculty: Our teachers are not attentive during sessions or lectures. Classes are not held regularly. The teaching quality is not good. There is no consistency in lectures. There is no proper management of lectures for students.

Hostel: Hostel facilities are like class hotels with geysers. Wi-Fi is available, and the speed is slow but fine. The food served in the mess is not good and not up to the mark. There are separate hostels for both males and females

Overall: IEM is the best management institution that I came across. The campus is WiFi enabled and thereby no problem in connectivity. A playground and a refreshment corner is also there for the benefit of students.

Placement: The senior batch of MBA department got placed in good and reputed companies with a handsome salary package. Being the junior batch it's quite satisfactory

Infrastructure: IEM an institution both for engineering and management and so it's obvious that it will have a huge infrastructure facility. It has a well built library and a basketball court.

Faculty: The faculty members provides all the information for a student need to know. The faculty helps not only in academic field but also help in grooming an individual.

Overall: IEM is an educational institution where good education comes with good job. Above line completely give justice to each and every students of IEM. As the amount of global exposure given to each and every students is commendable, which makes every students industry ready. The amount of discipline, regulations, punctuality, grooming, training given to every students make every students of IEM different from others.

Placement: More than 60 companies come for the campus placements drive such reputed companies are Deloitte, flipkart, TCS, Wipro, HDFC Bank, Hathway, IDBI Bank and many more. This year more than 50% of the students from MBA final year get the "Pre Placements Opportunity" from companies like ITC, HDFC, Kotak Mahindra, Hathway, TCS, Federal Bank, and many more. The average salary package offered is 12.5 L which is great. Along with good package the job role given to each and every students is commendable where someone is hired as a business analyst, portfolio managers, risk analyst, marketing manager and many more. With the good placements cell in our institution we the students get to know about everything as they help us in deciding as well as guide and cooperate with us to take the right decision.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of IEM is equipped with all modern facility and equipment’s. Each and every class are smart class with Air Conditioned class. Each class is equipped with all those related items to make a class more interactive between a student and teacher, listener and a speaker. Institute library is equipped with more than thousand books from subjects books to business journals, motivational books, storybooks, magazines, daily ET news papers,etc. IEM is a Wi-Fi enable campus. Every computer lab is protected and secured as IEM use different software to operate. There are many co-curricular activities are carried out such as football, basketball, cricket,batminton, table tennis, carrom, chess and many more. College also provide us with gym room with proper gym equipments.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, approachable, cooperative, knowledgeable, qualified enough to solve our problems by giving proper education and knowledge. Every group of 10 students are provided with a teacher as a mentor so that each students are carefully observed and rectify each students drawbacks. Not on.y the faculties each and every members associated with this organisation are helpful, cooperative.

Overall: Our teachers are very helpful.we can approach them any time.every day there is a doubt clearing class in our schedule where we can go to them for any queries.Excellent teacher quality they have.for most of the subjects we have more than 3 teachers.we will go for our industry visit in DSP in this month of march.

Placement: Our SIP slection is going on.companies like HINDALCO,hathway,federal bank,SREI,HDFC BANK,IDBI BANK has already given us SIP.In our senior batch E kart,hathway,karvy computers,HDFC bank,swigi,federal bank etc has given placement.In our senior batch 60 % placement has already done.

Infrastructure: In our college there are two computer labs,our library is a substitute lab,complete wifi enable campus.There are two seminar halls.classrooms are air conditioned.Canteen is good.Gaming zone is also there.projector is available in every class with sound system.

Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful.we can approach them any time.every day there is a doubt clearing class in our schedule where we can go to them for any queries.Excellent teacher quality they have.for most of the subjects we have more than 3 teachers.we will go for our industry visit in DSP in this month of march.

Hostel: I am a days scholar.from my friends experience i got to know that it is situated in a 20 mints distance in bus from college.canteen provides good food there.
