IIT Ropar News & Updates 2024: Notifications, Notice, Result

IIT Placements 2023-24 commenced for the top IITs on December 1, 2023, with crore-plus offers from trading and investment firms. As of now, IIT Kharagpur has bagged over 700 offers with 6 offers of more than INR 1 crore per annum. At IIT Delhi 1,050 students have been placed in top firms while 989 offers have been made at IIT Kanpur. With a total of 1,340 job offers made to IIT Bombay graduates, 22 students managed to secure lucrative salary packages of above INR 1 crore per annum. 

IIT Ropar GATE Cutoff 2024 - GATE 2024 cutoff for IIT Ropar will be released during the counselling process in the form of opening and closing ranks. The expected IIT Ropar GATE cutoff 2024 for General category candidates is 715 - 720, SC is 445 - 450, ST is 325 - 330 and OBC NCL is 605 - 610. GATE is the sole criterion for non-IIT graduates to get M.Tech admission at IIT Ropar. Therefore, the candidates must note that qualifying GATE is mandatory for M.Tech admission at IIT Ropar. IIT Ropar prepares the GATE cutoff by considering a bunch of factors including the previous year's cutoff, seats available in the specific course, the total number of candidates appearing for the GATE exam, the difficulty level of the exam, and the GATE normalized score. 

AP B.Tech Admission 2024 - Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) is responsible for conducting the Andhra Pradesh B.Tech admission process while the entrance test for engineering courses is conducted by JNTU (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University) Kakinada. UPTAC UP B.Tech Admission 2024: The UP BTech Admission 2024 is done mainly based on the JEE Main scores and counselling organised by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). Students with a valid score in JEE Mains can apply for admission to all BTech (Bachelor of Technology) programs excluding BTech Biotechnology and BTech Agricultural Engineering. Following the release of JEE Main Result 2024, AKTU will release the UPTAC BTech Application Form 2024 along with the counselling dates and schedule. The UPTAC 2024 application form is expected to be released in August 2024.

The UPTAC UP BTECH Admission 2024 is a state-level counselling procedure run by AKTU for admission to different UG and PG Engineering, Management, CS IT, Pharmacy, and other degrees. Candidates who have a valid rank in JEE Main, NATA, CUET UG, and CUET PG will be eligible to participate in the UPTAC 2024 counselling procedure.

TSCHE BTech Admission 2024 - A state-level Computer-Based Test (CBT) known as the TS EAMCET exam is conducted for B.Tech admission in Telangana by TSCHE every year. The B.Tech admissions in Telangana engineering colleges are purely based on merit. Every year, at least 2 lakh students appear for the state-level engineering entrance exam, and the competition for admissions in BTech in Telangana is moderate. The B.Tech admission process in Telangana for the academic session begins with the commencement of the online application process for the state-level engineering entrance exam. The TS EAMCET 2024 exam was held from May 7 to 11, 2024. After the result declaration, TSCHE will initiate the web counselling process for Telangana B.Tech admissions. It is expected that TS EAMCET counselling 2024 will begin in the first week of July 2024.
