IIT Ropar Placements 2024 - Average Package, Highest Package, Top Companies

IIT Ropar placements 2024 statistics have not been released yet. The IIT Ropar highest package offered to the B.Tech students was Rs 55 LPA and to the Dual Degree Mechanical Engineering students, it was Rs 41 LPA. IIT Ropar average package offered to the UG students was Rs 20.99 LPA and for the PG students it was Rs 13.31 LPA. The UG and PG placements for the year 2023, as per the officially released data, observed an overall placement percentage of 82.21% and 56.44%, respectively. In the IIT Ropar placements 2023, a total of 444 students registered and 323 students were placed. Companies like Amazon, Deloitte, Adobe, Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce, Zomato, Practo, etc. hired students during the campus placement of IIT Ropar. The maximum number of students placed was from the B.Tech CSE department, i.e., 70 out of 74 registered students, during the IIT Ropar placements 2023.

As per the data released for the IIT Ropar placements 2023, for both the UG and PG courses, a total of 323 students were placed from the total of 444 registered students. The overall placement percentage of UG was 82.21%, with a total of 281 students registered and 231 were placed. PG's overall placement rate was 56.44%; 163 students registered overall, of whom 92 were placed. The average IIT Ropar placement package offered to the students at UG level was Rs 20.99 LPA and PG level was Rs 13.31 LPA.

• During the IIT Ropar placements 2023, B.Tech CSE students secured the maximum placements. From 74 registered students, 70 were placed. The CSE placement percentage was 94.59%.
• At the PG level, the maximum placements were achieved by the M.Tech CSE department, with 86.67% placement rate, and 13 students were placed out of 15, at the IIT Ropar placements 2023. 
• During placements in 2023, for BTech students, the IIT Ropar average package was found to have increased by over 4% in comparison to 2022. It was Rs 20.24 LPA in 2022 and Rs 20.99 LPA in 2023.
• The overall IIT Ropar placement rate for the UG batch during placements in 2023 was 7% lower than it was in 2022. It was 88.49% in 2022 and 82.21% in 2023. 

The IIT Ropar highest package data has been released for the B.Tech and Dual Degree Mechanical Engineering for the year 2023. The highest package recorded for B.Tech was Rs 50 LPA and for Dual Degree (Mechanical Engineering) was Rs 41 LPA. In 2022, the overall highest package recorded was Rs 50 LPA. The IIT Ropar average package for the year 2023 was released separately for UG and PG departments. The overall average placement package recorded for the UG batch was Rs 20.99 LPA (2023), Rs 20.24 LPA (2022), Rs 15.85 LPA (2020), Rs 14.56 LPA (2019), and Rs 11.7 LPA (2018). The previous years, IIT Ropar average package for the PG batch was not released. In 2023, the PG average package recorded was Rs 13.31 LPA. Companies such as Axtria, Click Labs, Grofers, Practo, Coal India Limited, etc. hired both B.Tech and M.Tech/ M.Sc students. The overall percentage for the IIT Ropar placements 2023 was 82.21% (UG) and 56.44% (PG).
