About Jis Group Of Institutions
JIS Group was started with a joint venture project in the year 1988 namely Asansol Engineering College at Kalyanpur, Asansol. It has been imparting education, knowledge and employment since then to become the largest premier education service provider in the Eastern part of India. JIS Group Educational Initiatives was the brainchild of Sardar Jodh Singh which now has more than 25 educational institutes along with over 93 courses and 25000+ enrolled students in various academic fields. JIS Group can be distinguished for its 1724 faculty members including 324 PhD holders, 416 faculty development programmes, 384 student development programmes, AICTE sponsored Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), AICTE sponsored Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) and so on. JIS College of Engineering is the 1st Autonomous Private Engineering College in West Bengal. It is also the first NAAC Grade 'A' Accredited Self-Financed Private Engineering College.
