JIS B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2020

Candidates who seek admission to B.Tech at JIS Group of Institutions must meet the below-mentioned criteria:

• Must be at least 17. There is no upper age limit.
• Must have passed the 10+2 examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognized council/board. 
• Must have individual pass marks in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with the subjects of Biotechnology/Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science.
• Must have obtained at least 45% marks in the above subjects taken together as well as a pass in English with a minimum of 30% marks in the qualifying exam. 

JIS B.Tech Selection Process 2020

Selection of the B.Tech aspirants shall be done on their ranks in WBJEE/JEE (Main)/CEE-AMPAI-WB.

JIS B.Tech (Lateral Entry) Eligibility Criteria 2020

Candidates who are looking for lateral entry into B.Tech must be:

• A diploma holder in Engineering or B.Sc from an AICTE/UGC approved institute.
• Must have obtained not less than 45% marks in aggregate.

JIS B.Tech (Lateral Entry) Selection Process 2020

For getting lateral entry into the B.Tech course, candidates must have a valid rank of JELET which is conducted by WBJEEB. 

Higher Secondary passed (10+2 passed).

The candidate should have passed 10+2(PCB) with recognized Board.

Higher secondary( 10+2) appeared or passed can apply ( any stream arts, science, commerce).

The applicant should be passed / appeared in the Higher Secondary Examination in the general or vocational stream or the West Bengal Council of higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination from a recognized university / Board with Science, Commerce and Arts background. Candidates applying for admission should have English as one of the subjects at the 10+2 level. The admission of the candidate would be subject to clearing as guidelines of affiliated University.

Admissions to any of our programmes offered are strictly following the guidance of West Bengal University of Technology. Aspiring students can submit the duly filled Application Form. Admissions will be through the relevant Admission Committee. All candidates should have a valid rank of WBJEE / AIEEE and allotted a seat through Central Selection Counseling. Students allotted a seat has to take admission within a stipulated time notified by the college authorities at the time of Counseling & allotment.

The applicant must be an Indian citizen, having passed/ appeared at the Higher Secondary Examination in the General or Vocational Stream of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination from a recognized University/ Board. Candidates applying for admission should have English, Mathematics/ Statistics/ Business Mathematics / Computer Application at the 10+2 level. The admission of the candidate would be subject to clearing as per guidelines of affiliated University.

Candidates with B.Tech / B.E. / AMIE degree holders in CSE / IT / MCA can apply. Candidates with valid GATE / PGET (Conducted by WBUT) / CEE-AMPAI score are also required.

50% marks in Graduation in any stream with BCA/ Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science as one of the subjects from any recognized University in India. Students have to clear the WBJECA / CEE-AMPAI examinations of the current year.

Candidates applying for B.B.A must have passed Higher Secondary/12th standard from a recognised board with English as one of the compulsory subjects. 

JIS B.B.A Selection Process 2020 

Candidates will be selected on the basis of the performance in Under Graduate Aptitude Test (UGAT), following which they can apply for GD/PI. UGAT qualified candidates may directly apply for the GD/PI round. 

JIS B.C.A Eligibility Criteria 2020

Candidates interested in the B.C.A course offered by JIS Group of Institutions must satisfy the criteria mentioned below:

• Must be a Higher Secondary/12th standard pass from a recognised board.
• Must have English as one of the compulsory subjects in 10+2.

JIS B.C.A Selection Process 2020

B.C.A aspirants will be selected on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination.

Candidates going for a Diploma course at JIS Group of Institutions must have:

• Passed 10th standard from a recognised Board/Council.
• English, Physical Science/Science and Mathematics as the subjects in 10th standard.
• At least 35% marks in aggregate in Class X.

JIS Diploma Selection Process 2020

Candidates, for the Diploma course, shall be selected on their valid rank of JEXPO conducted by WBSETEC. 

Candidates looking for admission to the 5-year Integrated course of B.B.A-M.B.A must satisfy the following criteria:

• Must have passed Higher Secondary Examination in the vocational or general stream of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination.

Admission/selection of candidates for this course shall be based on the norms and guidelines of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT).

For the BDS course offered by JIS Group, candidates must be:

JIS M.D.S Eligibility Criteria 2020

• For M.D.S Course of studies, candidates should have passed B.D.S from college/university recognised by Govt. India/DCI.
• Candidates must have permanent registration from the Dental Council of India/State Council. 

JIS B.D.S/M.D.S Selection Process 2020

Eligible candidates shall be selected on the basis of NEET and university admission guidelines.

• Candidates must have passed higher secondary (10+2) from any recognised board in India/Bangladesh/Nepal/Bhutan.
• Must have secured minimum 45% marks in aggregate.

JIS B.H.M Selection Process 2020

All candidates must have a valid rank in NCHMCT-JEE. After this, the candidate should be allotted a seat through NCHMCT counselling. Students allotted a seat have to take admission within a stipulated time notified by the college authorities at the time of counselling and allotment.

JIS B.Pharm Eligibility Criteria 2020

Candidates who want to apply for the Bachelor of Pharmacy course (B.Pharm) must meet the following criteria:

• Candidates must have a minimum of 45%* marks in degree course (graduation) in any discipline.
