| Students review on hostel life | BTech Cse student Rahul Bhoj said during the admission days when you got admission in the college for the first time during the first month, the hostel food was good and but the after few months the quality started decreasing. MSIT Kolkata courses are offered at UG and PG levels. Admissions to various courses are based on merit and entrance exam scores. Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology offers a four-year undergraduate programme in B.Tech, with seven specialisations. - Upload scanned images of classes 10 and 12 related to all documents, signatures, photographs, and thumb impression
- Pay the application fee through debit or credit cards
- Once the application process is complete, the system generates a 7-digit WBJEE Application number that needs to be used for different logs into the system.

The placement cell of MSIT, Kolkata, helps its students get jobs with an average LPA of almost 4 at reputed companies worldwide. The institute has seen a 16.86 % rise in the number of placements this year compared to the last.
- There has been a 4.79 % rise in the number of companies that visited the campus this year.
- This year's package has been a whopping 190% hike.
- Of the 502 students who got themselves registered for placements, 412 were eligible, of which 330 students got placed successfully, the placement percentage being 80.10 %
- About 175 companies visited the campus this year
- Based on the different specialisations, the percentage of placements was 84.78 %, 88.68 %,74 %, 97.7 %, 58.82 % and 80% for IT, CSE, ECE, EE, CE and ME respectively
- BCA placement percentage was 96.43 %. The total number of eligible students was 28, of which 27 got placed. About 33 offers were made.
- BBA placement at MSIT, Kolkata, was a bit low this time. The number of eligible candidates was 10, whereas only 3 got placed, and offers were 3.
- Of the 18 eligible candidates for MCA placements, 14 were placed successfully, with a placement percentage of 77.78 %. The number of offers made was 17.
- The top companies to recruit this year are Amazon SDE, Accenture, Capgemini, Deloitte, EY, Infosys, Mphasis, Tata Medical, Tech Mahindra, and TCS Digital

The students experience a beautiful campus life where the grounds are pretty spacious, and the food is good quality and hygienic. The classrooms are airy and big. Several events take place throughout the year so that students can participate. Tech-O-Mania is the annual fest of MSIT, Kolkata, where students can participate. There are many sports events too. The institute is very strict about attendance, and an incomplete one can cause a penalty. There is no bar on moving in and out of the campus during working hours. But what most students feel best about is the over-supportive faculty members who are always there to guide and help them.
