SASTRA University B.Tech in Civil Engineering - Fees, Eligibility, Seats and Admission 2024

Overall: SASTRA University is a deemed university which is situated in Tamil Nadu. It is considered one of the best colleges for engineering in South India. This university offers quality education and good infrastructure without damaging your packet. The SASTRA University fees is affordable. This university also offers a variety of scholarships to financially help deserving students. Some of the scholarship categories that the university offers are merit-based scholarships, TATA Housing scholarships, Hostel scholarships, and so on. I got a merit-based scholarship here for which you get a fee concession on semester fees. Students ranking with 3% of their class can avail a two-fifth education, while those ranking between 3% and 10% can receive. These scholarships are really helpful for deserving students.

Placement: SASTRA Univesity reports a high placement rate, with a significant portion of students securing jobs through campus placements. Number vary year to year, but in 2023 placements, more than 1500 student secured good placements.

Faculty: For faculties at SASTRA University, I can say they are good. Some of the faculties will give you notes while others will give you concepts. And some of them give both things. SASTRA University curriculum is good and updated. They follow the most advanced curriculum designed according to the industry trends.

Hostel: Being a student from SASTRA University, I opted for hostel and mess facility provided by the university. You will get good breakfast and lunch daily. For mess menu, they include Idly, dosa, Uttapam, Paneer masala, Alloo Kofta, spongy rasgulle, Tea, and a lot more.

Placement: the placement history of our college shows a good average placement at INR 3.6 LPA and the highest placement at INR 30 LPA. The chance of getting placed in an IT company is 80%; most of our seniors are placed in various companies like Tata Consultancy, etc.

Infrastructure: All facilities are available in my college labs. The class teachers also teach very well to students and they give lots of opportunities to the students for seminars and classes.

Faculty: Teachers also give practicals knowledge to students. Teachers are give additional information about their courses. All the teachers are knowledgable and expereinced

Hostel: Hostel is good they give very good food and new recipe are covered, new chiefs also make good food for us and tasty but sometimes they use oil the most

Overall: the university have wonderfill infrastructure ,, and highly education department ,, it provide all the faclilities to thier students and high placement ..

Overall: Good and fantastic experience to study.teachers are well experienced and calm behaviour.most recommend for b.tech civil engineering.latest equipment in laboratory.

Placement: Placements are very good in sastra university.but If you keep arrear you can't get jobs but for placement many companies will come and packages also more.

Infrastructure: There are very modern building and new buildings was constructed in recent years.still many buildings are constructing and road are newly laid new technology introduced in infrastructure.

Faculty: Faculty are very well experienced and very talented person.calm behaviour but some faculty are very strict and some faculty are behaving friendly.....

Hostel: There are many hostel for boys and girls.food is moderate and only pure veg but hostel rooms are very neat warden are very strict lovely atmosphere to study

Overall: University where admission is based purely on merit (12th normalized marks + JEE Mains score). Approx 98% placement for B.Tech where the majority of students come out having a package of 3.5 LPA to 5LPA and few with 10LPA to 16LPA. Well, it depends on students how much do they explore during their college tenure. On the whole, it is one of the best Universities to study with a unique cultural blend of Tamil Nadu.
