Overall: Sastra Is gona give you a lot of experience personally and professionally. One thing which everyone here regret joining is only the fun. You won't even have Saturday holidays in your even semester as it becomes the compensation class.
Placement: When it comes to placements ofcourse top MNCs came to sastra but it's all before the covid. Even Amazon like companies came to our campus recruitment. Now the placement is getting reduced. Anyways the placement for ece and other branches otherthan cse is same as before. You can expect decent companies coming here.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of sastra is quite old because it is a very old campus runing from 1980s. Even though it is old the maintenance is good and all the lab facilities over here is appreciatable.
Faculty: Generally most of the faculties here are awesome. They are real enginnners who teach the engineering students. Faculties here have a really high qualifications and they have a lots of knowledge. Not everyone but mostly the faculties are good. If you could get close with some of your department faculty then surely they will guide you throughout your career.
Hostel: For girls unless you find a good roomate or a friend over here hostel Life is gona be a little tough. We don't have lifts over here and hostel rooms have a lot of patch work. But for boys you are gona have a good hostel with all facilities expect AC which is not given to both boys and girls. Only drawback for boys hostel is it's Lil far from the campus that u need to walk
Overall: It is a good college. Rules for girls are very strict. Teaching,Placements,Interaction with the staff is going good in the college. Overall it is a good college and rules here are very disciplinary.
