Hi,

With 2700 rank, you can get admission to any BTech programme at SASTRA University. As per the university’s admission criteria, students who have appeared for JEE Main can apply for the B.Tech. programmes at SASTRA for which 25% weightage will be given along with the +2 marks for which the weightage given is 75%. This is for 70% of the total seats. They need to enter their JEE scores, whatever the scores are. If a student secures a JEE Main Score of 185 and normalized +2 total marks of 95%, the combined score of the student will be (0.25*185) + (0.75*95) = 117.50. SASTRA uses its own ranks calculated based on +2 marks and JEE Main scores.

Dear student,

BTech admission at SASTRA University is based on the class 12 score and the JEE Marks of the applicants. The university calculates and releases the merit list based on the scores obtained by the applicants. Therefore, if in 2024, high-rank candidates fill out the SASTRA University admission form, then it will be difficult for students with low JEE Main rank. Since you have got 2606 AIR in JEE Main, it is possible for you to get admission. You can know for sure by applying for SASTRA University admission to BTech in 2024.

Dear Bhargav, With a stream 2 rank of 3591, it is unlikely that you will secure a seat in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program at SASTRA University. Typically, for CSE and its specializations, a higher rank is required. For instance, students with a rank below 500 in Stream 2 have a higher chance of getting into the CSE program. However, you might still have opportunities to get admitted into other engineering branches at SASTRA . The cutoff ranks can vary each year based on factors like the number of applicants and their performance, so it's recommended to check the latest updates and consider alternative branches or specializations within engineering. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, keep an eye on the official SASTRA University website and other educational portals. For comprehensive assistance in verifying these requirements and navigating the application process, Invicta Career Consultancy(ICC) offers thorough support. While there are other options available, so you can go to their website (icclearning.com) and consult with them for better guidance. All the best to you.

Dear student,

SASTRA University cutoff for BTech is not released separately for students. The university considers the class 12 score and JEE Main score for allocating seats to the most meritious students in the round. If you have applied for admission to BTech, then by logging into your account, you can see whether you were able to meet the SASTRA University cutoff 2024 for BTech or not. The admission process is currently ongoing for BTech. As for MBA admission at SASTRA University, the expected 2024 cutoff based on CAT is 60 to 70 percentile.
