Established in 1972 and affiliated with Delhi University (DU), Satyawati College is a constituent college of DU formed by the Government of Delhi. Named after the granddaughter of Swami Shradhanand, Behen (Sister) Satyawati, known as Toofani Behan by Mahatma Gandhi was popular for her commitment and dedication. The Satyawati College campus is located at Ashok Vihar, New Delhi, and is accredited by NAAC with an A grade. It is also UGC recognised.
It is a co-ed college and offers both UG and PG courses in the fields of arts, commerce, science etc. The Satyawati College admission to these courses is based on both merit and entrance exam scores.
