Check the placement history of the college, taking note of the companies which visited it for recruitment; the average salary packages offered to the students and the percentage of graduates recruited in their preferred roles.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is however the next thing to think about. Browse for colleges with the latest in facilities, spacious classrooms, well-equipped labs, and libraries. The maintenance of the campus and the provision of a nice and appropriate learning facility can really boost your college experience.
Faculty: Faculty members constitute a powerful force that will propel you on your academic path. Find universities that have knowledgeable, skilled, supportive and committed teachers to mentor students for fulfillment. A robust faculties can groom students and help them with counseling, mentorship, and support throughout their college studies.
Hostel: Besides a hostel, college life will also be influenced. Pay attention to the quality of college hostels; they should be clean, safe and comfortable for students to live in. You will really enjoy your stay in the hostel if the mess is kept clean and orderly and if you also develop good relationships with your hostel mates.

Unfortunately, diploma students from Bihar or any other state with 10th marks are not eligible for WBJEE exam. This is because the minimum WBJEE 2025 eligibility criteria requires that all students (from West Bengal or other states) must have completed their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects to get admission to B.Tech degree.

Dear Student,
For admission at St. Mary’s Technical Campus, you will either have to clear JEE Main or WBJEE entrance exam. The admission is done on the basis of either two entrance exam scores. Based on your rank in the WBJEE, the seats will be allotted through the counseling process. Meanwhile, if you have a valid JEE Main score, you can apply for the admission by visiting the campus offline.
