As a division of Kurukshetra University, UIET is renowned for both its academic brilliance and its robust engineering programs. The institute has state-of-the-art classrooms, a large library, and well-equipped labs. Faculty members participate in research and have advanced degrees. Student placements in leading IT and core engineering businesses are a testament to the placement cell's successful track record. While the campus atmosphere is favorable for extracurricular and academic pursuits, some students believe that more modern infrastructure would be beneficial.
