IIT Roorkee will conduct the GATE 2025 exam on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. The branch-wise exam dates have also been announced. The registration process is over, and the GATE 2025 exam admit card will be available on January 2, 2025. Candidates registered for the exam can download the hall ticket at the GOAPS portal.

NTA, the JEE Main Exam conducting authority has released the JEE Main 2025 Application Form correction dates. The JEE Main 2025 Application form correction window will remain open on November 26 and 27, 2024. As per the NTA official notification, the JEE 2025 Main registration for session 1 is available for the students till November 22, 2024, (up to 9 PM). Candidates are advised to fill the JEE Main Application Form 2025 before the deadline.

  • The application fee of Rs 200 must be submitted along with the application in the form of a Demand Draft in favour of the Director, National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, payable at Kurukshetra.
  • Alternatively, applicants can deposit the fee online using SBI i-collect facility and then attach the receipt along with the application.

MBA

  • Login to the institute website and download the NIT Kurukshetra admission form 2024 and take print and fill out the form with necessary details.

The NITKKR campus offers several facilities for the students like hostels, residential sectors, post office, health centre, SBI bank, library, sports complex, laboratories, etc.

  • Library – NITKKR has a well-structured library with about 1,00,000 books, 6,000 back volumes, and 3,600 e-books.
  • Computer Centre – The centre of Computing and Networking (CCN) is a centralized computer facility for students and staff. The centre has a good internet facility.
  • Senate Hall –The main hall to hold conferences, seminars, workshops, etc., is well equipped and used as a lecturing hall by guest faculties and corporate mergers.
  • Sports Complex – It includes a badminton court, basketball court, tennis court, volleyball court, cricket ground, football ground, and hockey ground.

The National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra (NITKKR) offers several scholarships to its undergraduate and postgraduate students based on the merit system. Some of the scholarships are listed below:

  • Merit scholarship – NITKKR offers 26 merit scholarships each year for a student who is scored more than 60% in the last qualifying semester.
  • Merit cum means scholarship – NIT Kurukshetra offers merit cum means scholarship to a student is scored more than 60% in the qualifying exam and whose family has an annual income of less than Rs 2,50,000.
  • National scholarship – National scholarship is offered to students whose family has an annual income of less than Rs 2,50,000 and who scored more than 60% in the qualifying exam. The board also awards Rs 300 per month.
  • National scholarship for teacher’s school-going children – This NIT Kurukshetra scholarship is for the children of working teachers in any recognized primary/ secondary school; whose annual income of less than Rupees 2,50,000.
  • Post matric SC/ST scholarship - It offers post-matric SC/ST scholarships to students of scheduled caste and tribe people whose family’s annual income is less than Rs 2,50,000. The board also offers Rs 425 per month.
  • Alumni association scholarship – Alumni association scholarship under NIT Kurukshetra scholarships is offered to B.Tech students of NITKKR in the Civil, Mechanical, Electronics, and Computer science engineering departments. Five NIT Kurukshetra scholarships worth Rs 2,400 per annum are also offered to financially weak students.
