The fee for Ph.D in Humanities and Social Sciences at VNIT Nagpur is 15000 INR. Ph.D in Humanities and Social Sciences admission 2024 at VNIT Nagpur will be based on UGC NET, CSIR NET.

The eligibility criteria for pursuing a Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) degree at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) require candidates to possess a master's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university. Additionally, applicants must have secured a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent) in their qualifying examination. However, a relaxation of 5% is provided for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories. Candidates are also required to qualify in the VNIT Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) or any other equivalent national-level examination, such as GATE/NET. Furthermore, applicants must submit a research proposal in their area of interest, demonstrating their aptitude and motivation for research.
