Calicut University Admission 2024

University of Calicut admissions are ongoing for the year 2024. The university  offers admission in UG and PG courses on merit and entrance basis. The university conducts Calicut University Common Admission Test (CUCAT) for admission in BPEd and various PG courses. Scores of JEE Main, KEAM, NATA, CAT, KMAT and CMAT are also accepted for Calicut University admission. For BTech and BArch admission, the university accepts JEE Main/KEAM and NATA/KEAM scores respectively. At the PG level, CAT/CMAT/KMAT scores are considered for MBA admission.

As per Calicut University admission process, for PG courses in which admissions are done on merit basis candidates need to participate in Post Graduate Centralised Admission Process (PGCAP). The counselling is conducted for admission in university departments and affiliated colleges. Candidates interested in admission can apply for admission at the university via online or offline mode as per their convenience. Calicut University application fees vary from course to course. For general category applicants, the application fees for CUCAT is Rs 580 for PG/BPEd and Rs 790 for LLM. Calicut University offers a wide range of scholarships to students based on their academic merit. Calicut University UG Admission

The university offers a total of 17 courses at the UG level in multiple disciplines. BA Economics, BA Philosophy, BSc Chemistry, BSc Physics, BTech Information Technology, BTech Electrical and Electronics Engineering, BCom Taxation, BArch etc. are some of the renowned UG courses offered. Candidates who have passed Class 12 from a recognised board are eligible for Calicut University UG admission. The university provides merit based admission in all UG courses other than BPEd, BTech and BArch. Calicut University admission in BPEd, BTech and BArch are done on entrance basis.
