Calicut University offers central sector scholarships of MHRD, UGC and other agencies for students in all of its departments. Candidates who wish to avail Calicut University scholarships need to fill up an application form and also go through the verification process to avail the scholarships. 

Online Application and Verification of Application Process

  • Students who wish to avail the scholarship must visit the National Scholarship Portal.
  • Candidates can submit their applications for eligible Central Sector Scholarship schemes of MHRD, UGC and other agencies online .
  • Students at Calicut University have to follow the same procedure for fresh applications and renewals as well.
  • Submit the printout of the online application along with all the required documents to the department office.
  • Respective heads of the departments will then verify and countersign the applications.
  • In the next step, they will forward the same to College Development Council for institutional level verification.
  • On successful verification of the documents, the students who applied for the scholarship will receive an intimation by SMS.
  • In case of any defect, the students who applied for the scholarship are informed by SMS.
  • The student can rectify the defect and forward the application to CDC through the HoD.
