The candidates must have passed the Matriculation or equivalent examination with pass in the subjects of Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) and English. 2nd year of Diploma Course (Lateral Entry) Candidates who have passed ITI Course of atleast one year duration ( who passed 10th level school leaving examination before admission tp ITI Courses) or 10+2 vocational examination in various branches from any institution of Punjab/other state and have domicile of Punjab with a minimum of 60% marks at the 10+2 stage or at ITI would be eligible for lateral entry in various diploma engineerintg courses.
