1.M.Phil: Rs. 5,000 per month

Central University of Punjab Scholarships Criteria for Eligibility
- Students enrolled in any CUP Bathinda scholarship program with a minimum attendance rate of 75% are eligible to apply for a scholarship.
- Any other funding source, private or public, should not provide students with fellowships or financial assistance.
- All postgraduate students from university departments who meet the qualifications listed below are eligible to work as a library, laboratory, computer centre, and store assistant.
- A supervisor may be appointed to oversee the progress of the work and keep track of attendance for each category, and they may countersign the monthly claims to be forwarded with the COC.
- Candidates interested in M.Tech programmes must have a B.Tech/BE in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/Electronics/Electronics and Communication/ Electrical/ Instrumentation Engineering from a recognised university.
- Candidates must have received at least 55% in one of the aforementioned programmes.
- Candidates must also have a current GATE score.
- The plan provides funding for the Central University of Punjab students through fines collected from various sources or any relevant budget line.
CUP Bathinda Scholarships Rules
- Students may not be assigned to more than the indicated number of non-teaching vacant positions.
- Students may be assigned work for a maximum of three hours per day.
- Working hours will be prior to or following the regular class schedule.
- For candidate selection, the EWYL committee will make a recommendation.
- All helpers' working hours must be evenly distributed over the course of one month.
- The faculty/staff members involved must maintain an enrollment register, which may include full details of the enrolled student as well as specifics of the task to be assigned to him, including working hours.
- The relevant faculty/staff will inspect the work and note on the payment voucher that the student has worked for the remuneration.
- The accounting division is in charge of keeping the entire record and delivering it to the audit when necessary.
- Any student who submits a false payment claim will be expelled from the EWYL programme and face disciplinary action.
