NIT BTech Fee Structure 2024: The fee structure for BTech typically includes a tuition fee of INR 62,500 to INR 1,25,000 per semester. While VNIT Nagpur charges the highest NIT fees for BTech of INR 1,25,000 per semester, most NITs have a semester fee of INR 62,500. Apart from the tuition fee, one must incur other expenses like hostel fees, mess fees, one-time admission fees, and more. However, the same may vary depending on the National Institute of Technology, the student's requirements and their category. Eligible students can also opt for financial aid and grants if their family income from all sources is less than INR 1 lakhs and INR 5 Lakhs. The NIT Council determines the fee structure for NITs in India. Soon after JEE Main, the institute posts the NIT total fees for 4 years with hostel for all categories on the JoSAA webpage.

How is NIT Admission Fees Determined?
NIT fees for BTech for 4 years is determined by the NIT Council in consultation with the MHRD. When determining the NIT BTech Fee Structure 2024, numerous aspects are taken into account. These are as folows -
NIT admission fee structure for 4 years with hostel is set by the NIT Council and the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) according to guidelines from the higher education department.
The fee structure is decided considering the categories for which costs are to be determined. Candidates in the reserved category pay lower fees than those in the general category.
A portion of the costs, such as the hostel price or the mess fee, differs per NIT and is determined by the particular institute.
NIT Seat Matrix 2024
The NIT seat matrix for the upcoming academic session 2024 is yet to be released. JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) will release the detailed seat matrix for all NITs after the conclusion of the JEE Main 2024 exams. Candidates must note that the seats will be allocated as per the candidate's categories. NIT Fee Waiver for BTech
In India, NITs provide college fee benefits to candidates in a variety of areas. Candidates for tuition fee waivers who are economically disadvantaged must submit an annual Income Certificate of the Family provided by the State Government's authorized body. Candidates must also submit an affidavit on non-judicial stamped paper in the amount of Rs.100, as per the format provided on the Institute website, along with the Income Certificate.
