The National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR) Hyderabad was established in 1958 and is an autonomous institution. It functions under the Union Ministry of Rural Development. It is regarded as one of the UN-ESCAP Centers of Excellence for research and training. The two flagship courses offered by NIRDPR Hyderabad are the PGDM-RM and PGDRDM. There are four additional distance learning courses also available. The NIRDPR admission process requires students to have valid scores in CAT, XAT, ATMA, MAT or CMAT entrance exams. The college has a placement record of 100%. At the NIRD Hyderabad placements, top recruiters such as RURBAN Mission, National Fisheries Development Board, HCL, Helpage India, IKYA Global, etc. hire students. The NIRDPR Scholarships are provided to students based on the candidates performance during the trimester examination. The NIRDPR Hyderabad fees range from Rs 18,000 to Rs 2.90 lakh. The college is well equipped with the necessary amenities such as a library, hostels, sports complex, conference halls, cafeteria and a computer centre.
