About Heritage Institute of Technology
Established in 2001, the Heritage Institute of Technology is a private institution in Kolkata managed by Kalyan Bharti Trust. It has been affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT). Courses & Admission 2024 at Heritage Institute of Technology
Heritage Institute of Technology admission to BTech courses through WBJEE will soon start. Students must participate in the WBJEE counselling process for Heritage Institute of Technology BTech admission. In 2024, the BTech counselling will start in July 2024 (tentative), and it will be conducted by WBJEEB. For admission to M.Tech, GATE score card is required. Heritage Institute of Technology Placements
HIT Training and Placement cell have been successful in adding more and more companies as its recruiters. The corporate resource centre at HIT tries to bridge the gap between industry requirements and the skills of students. The Heritage Institute of Technology 2022 placement report has not yet been made public, but we will update this page as soon as it is. Prior to this, 620 students in all were placed during the 2020 Heritage Institute of Technology Placements. Heritage Institute Of Technology cutoff 2024 is yet to be released. WBJEEB will release the BTech cutoff based on the WBJEE and JEE Main score during the counselling process. Heritage Institute of Technology Campus Facilities and Infrastructure
Heritage Institute of Technology campus has been equipped with useful amenities. Classrooms are equipped with overhead projectors. A medical unit is available on the campus besides arrangements with hospitals located nearby. Based on student demand, two-way transportation is given at specified hours from key sites in Kolkata. There's a postal facility available nearby at East Kolkata Township P.O . DTDC facility is also available for the faculty, staff and students. Students can enjoy the benefit of netsurfing and online studies in the central computer facility available at the campus. HIT campus also has a Satellite Interactive Terminal (SIT), installed by ISRO and WBUT for providing video call facility to all students and faculty members. The Institute has common rooms (separately for boys and girls) equipped with indoor games facilities like Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess etc.
