NIT Mizoram Latest Updates
As it was a JEE Main 2025 Shift 1 examination held from 9 AM to 12 PM, the paper was rated as moderately to difficult. The paper comprised three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics each carrying 30 questions. Overall, Physics is moderate to difficult, Chemistry easy to moderate, and Mathematics is moderate. This means candidates can also use memory-based solutions to predict their expected score.
The NTA has moved the venue of JEE Main 2025 in Ayodhya for January 28, 29, and 30, since the gatherings of pilgrims during Mahakumbh are going to take place during these days. Candidates affected by this are asked to report to the new center, SRS Digital Institute. Fresh admit cards are available on jeemain.nta.nic.in, which candidates must download to ensure a problem-free entry into the examination.
The national-level engineering entrance exam, JEE Main 2025, got off to a bad start asthe NTA had to postpone the exam for some students due to technical glitches on the first day. The Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Mains 2025) January 23 exam for BE, BTech paper 1 is underway for session 1.
The JEE Main 2025 admit card will be released for the January 28, 29, and 30 exams. Candidates can find the download link on the official website.

NTA is holding the JEE Mains 2025 exam for Session 1 on the following scheduled dates - Paper 1 (January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29) and Paper 2 (January 30). The exam will take place in two shifts: The first shift (9:00 am to 12:00 pm) and the Second Shift (3:00 pm to 6:00 pm).
The NTA has announced the exam center list of JEE Main 2025 along with 26 international centers. Candidates will be able to view their assigned city for taking the exam through an intimation slip and full address through the admit card to be issued on January 19-20, 2025. JEE Main Session 1 Exam will begin from January 22 to 30, 2025.
The admit card for JEE Main 2025 for session 1 will be available three days prior to the examination, which is between January 19-20, 2025. Candidates can download their admit card from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in by using their application number and password. The exam will take place on January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, and 30, 2025.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the City Intimation Slip for JEE Main 2025 on its official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Applicants can download it by logging into the portal using their application number and date of birth. The slip will facilitate travel arrangements to reach the venue for the January 22–30, 2025 examination. Admit cards for the examination will be issued three days prior to the examination date.
NIT Mizoram has declared the PhD admission process for the Even Semester of 2024-2025. Application will start from January 13, 2025, and close on January 17, 2025. Self-declaration certificate, migration certificate, OBC (NCL) certificate, Aadhaar, and an online anti-ragging undertaking are mandatory. Full-time candidates are compulsorily required to be present at the time of admission.
Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) 2025 invites North-Eastern students to apply for JEE Main 2025 to get entry to top engineering institutions, including NITs, IIITs, and SPAs. Online registration for Session 2 starts from 31 January 2025. Other schemes like CSAB-NEUT provide an opportunity to the students in reaching tailored seats on admission to different fields, ranging from conventional to emerging engineering streams.
About NIT Mizoram
NIT Mizoram BTech admission process will start with JoSAA registration which will begin on June 10, 2024. Students will need their JEE Main 2024 results for JoSAA counselling. The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the JEE Main 2024 Session 2 result for paper one along with NTA scores on April 24. To access the result and the score, students need to use their JEE Main Session 2 application number, date of birth and security pin on the NTA website. NIT Mizoram cutoff 2024 is expected to be released in the second week of July 2024 by JoSAA. The number of applicants who appeared in the JEE Main 2024 session two exams was 10,67,959.
Parliament designated NIT Mizoram as an Institute of National Importance. Initially, the NIT Mizoram courses included B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. With the addition of Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering during the 2013-14 academic year, the institute increased its course offerings to five. The institute also offers postgraduate programmes in technology. NIT Mizoram admissions to B.Tech and PG programmes are done on the basis of entrance tests JEE Main, GATE, JAM, CAT, etc.

NIT Mizoram Cut Off
NIT Mizoram BTech cutoff 2024 will be released in the second week of June 2024. The cutoffs are released in the form of opening and closing ranks for all the B.Tech programmes offered at the institute. The NIT Mizoram JoSAA cutoff is released separately for Home State (HS) and Other State (OS) quotas. 50% of seats are reserved for HS quota students and the other 50% for OS quota students. NIT Mizoram Infrastructure
NIT Mizoram's campus is surrounded by lush greenery near the Lengpui Airport and Aizwal. The NIT Mizoram campus area spans 191 acres of land and comprises four academic blocks, one administrative block, and four hostel blocks, three of which are located in Tanhril and one in Durtlang. The permanent campus is under construction in Aizwal, near the Lengpui Airport. NIT Mizoram classrooms are outfitted with cutting-edge technology such as projectors and virtual boards for ease of knowledge dissemination.
The library is well-stocked with periodicals, books, and journals related to the institution's curriculum. Teachers and students can access the books and research articles via an online portal.
