The Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test or JKCET is conducted every year by the Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) for those who desire to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) offered at various Government and Private Engineering colleges of J&K. JKCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Before you proceed to register for the JKCET 2025 exam, you must ensure to go through the entire eligibility criteria. The basic JKCET eligibility states that you must have a domicile certificate from the UT of Jammu and Kashmir or an ST certificate from the UT of Ladakh. JKCET Admit Card 2025

JKCET 2025 admit card will be issued at the official website of JKBOPEE. In order to download the admit card, you will have to log in with the help of the registration number, and date of birth, and then take a coloured printout of your JKCET admit card 2025. Note that without the admit card, you won’t be allowed to enter the exam hall. Furthermore, after you download the admit card, you must make sure to cross-check all the details and make sure they are correct. In case of any discrepancy, you must immediately contact the concerned authority.

JKCET 2025 Answer Key

The JKCET 2025 answer key will be published tentatively in the month of April 2025. The answer key will display all the correct answers for the JKCET exam. With the help of the JKCET answer key, you will be able to get an estimate about the marks you secure in the exam. Firstly, the authority will release the preliminary answer key against which, you will be able to raise objections. For every single objection per paper, you will have to pay INR 1,000 rupees. JKCET Counselling Process 2025

The JKCET 2025 counselling will be conducted expectedly in the month of May 2025. You will be able to attend the JKCEt counselling only if you have qualified the result. The counselling of JKCET will be conducted by the Jammu & Kashmir Board of Entrance Examination. You will be required to report to the BOPEEE office for registration on the days of counselling. At the exam centre, you will have to bring all the required documents and a counselling fee of INR 1000. You won’t be allowed to participate in the counselling process withoutpaying the application fee. The Ist Round of Counselling to get admission to B.Tech. Courses 2025 will be conducted for a specific range.

The JKCET counselling will be held in 2 rounds. The authorities will release a seat matrix before each round of counselling. If your names names appear in the JKCET 2025 merit list, then you will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. You must show up at the counseling location since JKCET counseling 2025 will be done offline. The Jammu Kashmir CET 2025 counseling process entails reporting to the institutes, document verification, option filling, and seat allocation. The courses and colleges chosen for JKCET 2025 counseling must be listed in the order of preference. The JKCET merit, your preferences, and seat availability will all be taken into consideration when allocating seats.   1. Document Verification and Registration - Before attending the counseling session, you must check your documentation. At the designated centers, the document verification process will be carried out. After the verification is successfully completed, you will be issued a special ID and password along with all of the necessary documentation.
  2. Choice Filling and Locking - You will then be required to log in with your JKCET 2025 registration number to fill out and lock your chosen choices of courses and colleges. You will be allowed to view the course-specific, category-specific, and college-specific seat matrices that will be made public by the authorities before making your selections. All of your choices must be made in the order of your preferences. Prior to the deadline, you may additionally add, rearrange, or change your selections. Once you have sealed your selections, no revisions will be permitted.
  3. Seat Allotment - The authorities will initially release a mock JKCET 2025 seat allotment outcome once the choice-filling process is complete. The purpose of the mock allocation is to inform you of your prospects of admission based on your merit and desired seats. After the mock allotment result is revealed, you will have the option of changing your selections. The officials will release the true JKCET seat allotment after the mock allotment. By logging in with your login information, you will be able to monitor the status of your allocation in the online mode. It is necessary to download and print the JKCET 2025 provisional allocation letter.
