Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech courses have to register for TNEA counselling and meet the cutoff to get shortlisted. Registrations are currently open and the last date to apply is June 6, 2024. As Anna University cutoff has not been released yet, the expected ranks will help estimate the chances of admission. For B.Tech CSE, the expected cutoff ranks for different categories are as follows: OC is expected to have a cutoff between 27-32, BC around 75-80 and ,SC from 663-668 rank. It's important to note that the expected ranks of Anna University have been derived based on previous year official cutoff data. For the B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Anna University cut off is expected to be between 867-872 for OC, 1266-1271 for BC, 8577-8582 for SC category, and 30905-30910 rank for ST.

No, Anna University admissions are offered on the basis of entrance exam scores followed by a counselling process. For admission to B.Tech courses, you have to register for TNEA counselling. For Anna University admissions to PG courses such as M.Tech and MBA, you have to appear and qualify in CEETA-PG and TANCET, respectively.
