Dear student,

The LLB course at Delhi University is offered only in the full-time mode and not in the correspondence/distance-learning mode. Admission to the LLB course is based on the DU LLB exam as well as the CUET UG exam. In order to be eligible for admission to this course, candidates must have completed Graduation or postgraduation from DU or any other recognised university with an aggregate of 50% marks. Moreover, the Delhi University fees for LLB is Rs 4,900.

Hope this answers your query! Please feel free to contact us in case you have any other queries!

Hello Mayank,

Delhi University offers a PhD programme in a variety of fields. The basic eligibility criteria one needs to meet is to have a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks. Candidates from reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC-NCL and PwD will get a 5% relaxation in the required eligibility criteria. For Delhi University PhD admission, in some specialisations, one will be required to present a Research Proposal to their specialisation/ department, during the admission process. The final selection at DU will be done on the basis of one’s performance in the entrance test and personal interview session.

The last date for submission of the DU application form 2023, for phase 1 admission to the PhD course, was May 31, 2023, it was previously February 15, 2023. The application fee was Rs 750. The entrance test considered for admission is the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET), it will be followed by a PI session conducted by the respective department. The applications were accepted at du.ac.in. For all applicants to the PhD programmes, online registration was mandatory.

Hello Vani,

For DU admission 2023, to the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, candidates have to take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam. This exam has been made mandatory for all students seeking admission to DU. The requirements for the admissions are stated here, candidates have to meet the requirements in order to secure admission. Delhi University UG admission will consider CUET UG scores, while PG admissions will consider CUET PG scores. Candidates willing for admission have to show up for the appropriate exams.

Candidates who pass the entrance exam then must register on Delhi University's Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) webpage in order to receive details on seat allocations. Multiple rounds of seat allocation are conducted using the CSAS platform. The combination of the chosen college/ university and programme, the candidate's rank on the merit list, the candidate's category (UR, EWS, SC, ST, OBC), and the availability of seats are some of the few variables that affect seat distribution at Delhi University. There are around 69,554 seats available at DU, 3,291 of which are designated for the sports quota. At Delhi University, 15% of seats are set aside for candidates from outside Delhi, with the remaining 85% reserved for Delhi candidates. The DU PhD admission 2023-24, will be done based on the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET), which will be followed by a Personal Interview (PI) session, conducted by the respective department, in which you are seeking admission.
