Maharashtra DSE 2025 CAP Round 2 Seat Allotment Release Date: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, is set to release the DSE CAP Round 2 Seat Allotment 2025 on August 14, 2025, at dse2025.mahacet.org.in. The seat allotment will be released based on the candidate’s name in the merit list, submitted preferences during the option form, seat availability, and their cutoffs. Along with the allotment result, the authority will also publish the institute-wise allotment list and official closing ranks in a PDF format. AP EAMCET Final Phase Counselling 2025:
The High Court of Andhra Pradesh is yet to take a decision on the local status in AP EAMCET counselling 2025, and this is leading to further delay in the counselling process.
Considering the current scenario, AP EAMCET 2025 final phase seat allotment is expected to be delayed further, and there is no sign of the seat allotment result till August 20.
As August 15, 16 and 17 are continuous holidays for the court, the matter is expected to be heard only after August 18, which means the chances of seat allotment are less before that. Apart from the AP EAMCET final phase seat allotment 2025, AP ICET final phase counselling and AP LAWCET counselling are delayed.
While the second phase seat allotment is getting delayed, various colleges have started asking students who secured seats in Phase 1 counselling to join and pay the fees. Students who need hostel facility at colleges are targeted by a few colleges, and there were instances where these colleges tried to threaten students that if they dont pay the fee, they might lose their hostel facility. Many representations are being made to APSCHE regarding the clarity on the final phase seat allotment, but until the matter comes for hearing in AP HC, the authority will not be in a position to provide further updates.

Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education has
indefinitely postponed AP EAMCET Final Phase Seat Allotment 2025
that was supposed to be released on August 4. AP High Court has ordered to include 3 non-local students as 'local students' in AP EAMCET counselling 2025. However, the Department of Technical Education was not satisfied with the decision, as the authority would face practical problems if these students were considered as local students. Therefore, DTE decided to file a petition in the AP High Court and challenge the decision. The petition will be filed on August 5, and the release of the seat allotment result for the final phase counselling shall depend on the verdict of the High Court.

Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education postponed the AP EAMCET Final Phase Seat Allotment Result 2025 that was scheduled on August 4 due to a case in AP HC regarding the local status of 3 students. The seat allotment has been delayed since then, and APSCHE has not given any further updates on the issue. The status of the AP HC hearing on the local status issue is still unknown, and there is no official update on whether the matter has already been heard or will be heard soon.
