Marine engineering is a course related to the engineering and management of oil rigs, ships, boats and marine vessels or structures. The IMU CET 2025 result was declared on May 30, 2025, and the first admission list for Indian Maritime University (IMU) and its affiliated colleges will be released on June 11, 2025.
Online counselling registration for IMU and its campuses is open in early June 2025, with document verification for the first admission list scheduled from June 18 to June 21, 2025.
The second and third IMU admission lists are expected to be published in late June and early July 2025, depending on seat availability and candidate responses.

The academic session for BTech Marine Engineering in most colleges, including IMU campuses and top private institutes, is scheduled to start in the first or second week of August 2025.
