The admission process of top B.Tech colleges in India entails clearing entrance based exams such as JEE Main, TNEA and KCET among others.
The JEE Main 2022 rank is the determining factor for granting admission in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. CSAB SFTI is conducted for admission in self funded technical institutes whereas CSAB NEUT is conducted for seta reserved in NICTE approved institutes in India that are not covered under CSAB for the North eastern states and Union Territories. JEE Main 2022 is scheduled to take place in two sessions from April 16 – 21 and May 24 – 29.
The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Tamil Nadu for granting admission into B.E./B.Tech courses in various government and private colleges across the state of Tamil Nadu. Candidates are required to register themselves online at the official website of TNEA to apply for the exam. After the application form has been filled , the application fee payment is to be done online. The registration process for TNEA 2022 is expected to begin in May. The selection of the candidates is determined by their rank on the merit list.
Candidates are required to register themselves with the help of KCET 2022 application number and get their documents verified at any nearest helpline centre. After the verification process is over , the list of eligibile candidates will be published on the official website of the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Candidates will further proceed to lock their choices in terms of course and college in order to secure seats. The final step is the allotment of seats based on merit and choice options provided by the candidate which will be conducted as per the reservation policy of the government. The application process for KCET 2022 will begin in March and the exam is likely to take place in June.
