JEE Main/ VITEEE/ SRMJEEE/ HITSEEE/ BITSAT are the popular entrance exams to get admission in top engineering colleges in India.
Usually, the admission process begins in April/ May/ June every year for M.Tech and B.Tech in popular engineering colleges in India.
It is always better to clear the national-level entrance exam, i.e., JEE Main for B.Tech/ GATE for M.Tech for better admission chances.
Top private engineering colleges and deemed universities in India reserves a limited number of seats for management quota admission in B.Tech and M.Tech.
For M.Tech, top engineering colleges charge a minimum of Rs. 1,00,000 per annum.
For B.Tech, top engineering colleges charge a minimum of Rs. 1,50,000 per annum.
M.Tech admission in engineering colleges across the country is either based on GATE/ State-Level Entrance Exam/ Direct admission process.
In various states, B.Tech admission is based on a state-level entrance exam/ JEE Main/ Centralized counselling. Admission through state-level counselling can be considered as state quota admission.
Private deemed universities conduct their own entrance exam for B.Tech admission, and if seats left after entrance-based admissions, direct admission will be allowed. However, private colleges offer direct admission under management quota.
Usually, the admission process of top engineering colleges in India is based on an entrance test. There are multiple B.Tech/ M.Tech entrance exams, and the aspirants need to choose the exam as per his/her admission preference.
