What is a normalized score in CUET?

Normalised score in CUET refers to calculating students' scores on the same scale when an exam for a specific subject is administered in multiple shifts. According to the CUET 2024 information bulletin, the NTA intends to conduct CUET exams for each subject (including general tests and languages) in a single shift, eliminating the need for a normalisation process. However, if some papers must be completed in multiple shifts due to unavoidable circumstances, the equi-percentile method will be used for normalisation.
