JUET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should ensure that they fulfill the JUET 2021 eligibility norms before applying for the entrance exam. The eligibility varies from course to course. The eligibility criteria for JUET 2021 entrance exam is as follows:

Course NameEligibility
M.Sc in Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences
  • Candidates who have passed or are appeared in the final year of bachelor degree and should have studied the relevant subject as one of the main subjects
  • Must have 50% aggregate (general category) and 45% for reserved category.
Master in Arts, Social Science, Education and Law
  • Candidates who have passed or are appeared in the final year of bachelor degree and should have studied the relevant subject as one of the main subjects
  • For Punjabi, the minimum qualifying marks are 60%
  • For Kashmiri, the minimum qualifying marks are 40% (36% for candidates belonging to reserved category)
  • For BEd and MPEd, the minimum required marks are 50%
  • For MLib Isc., the minimum required marks are 50% in BLib Isc degree (45% marks if belonging to reserved category)

M.Com
  • Candidates must have one  of the following degrees with 60% minimum qualifying marks –BCom (Hons.)BCom/ BBA/ BSc/ BCA
UG Courses Law, Commerce, and Management
  • Candidates must have passed or appeared in class 12th exam of JKBOSE or any other recognised board.
  • For BA LLB, the minimum marks are 45% (40% marks for reserved category candidates) and candidates should not be more than 21 years of age if belonging to general category and 22 years or less for candidates belonging to reserved category as on July 1 of the admission year

  • For BBA, the candidate must have 50% in class 12 or equivalent.
  • For BCom (Hons.) the minimum qualifying marks are 40% marks in Commerce stream.
