GATE 2024 Exam Dates: IISc Bangalore conducted the GATE 2024 exam in the first and second weeks of February. The GATE 2024 exam dates were February 3, 4, 10 & 11, 2024. The national-level entrance examination was held as a Computer Based Test in online mode, in two shifts. Shift 1 of the exam was conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM while Shift 2 was conducted from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. As per the statistics, 8,26,239 candidates registered for GATE 2024 . Of these, 6,53,292 candidates took the GATE 2024 exam compared to 5,17,000 candidates who appeared for the exam in 2023.

GATE 2024 Application Form Date

GATE application form 2024 was released on August 31, 2023, on the official website of IISc Bangalore – gate2024.iisc.ac.in. Candidates could register through the GOAPS login portal and fill out the application form of GATE 2023 in online mode. The GATE 2024 application form last date for submission without a late fee was October 12, 2023. After that, candidates had to pay additional charges to submit the registration form. The last date to apply for GATE 2024 with a late fee was October 20, 2023.

IISc Bangalore opened the GATE 2024 application form correction window for all the registered candidates on November 19, 2024. Through this facility, applicants could edit/rectify mistakes made during the application form fill-out process. The deadline for GATE application form correction 2024 was November 24, 2024.

GATE 2024 Admit Card Date

IISc Bangalore released the GATE admit card 2024 on January 4, 2024, at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. Originally, the admit card was scheduled for release on January 3, but it was released a day after. Only 8,26,239 candidates who registered for GATE 2024 were issued the hall ticket. Candidates could log in to the GOAPS portal with their Enrolment ID and Password to download the GATE 2024 admit card from the official website. The admit card of GATE 2024 included important details, such as the GATE 2024 exam dates, shift timings, paper name, candidate’s name, roll number, allotted GATE exam centre etc. printed in it. All candidates were mandated to carry a copy of the GATE admit card 2024 along with a valid ID to the test centre on the day of the examination.

GATE 2024 Answer Key Date

The GATE answer key 2024 was released provisionally at gate2024.iisc.ac.in, on February 19, exactly 8 days after the conclusion of the GATE exam 2024. Candidates had the option to challenge the provisional GATE 2024 answer key through the official website. However, to raise objections, they had to submit INR 500 per question. The last date to challenge the GATE answer key 2024 was February 24, 2024. The authorities release the GATE final answer key 2024 on March 15, after reviewing and resolving all the objections submitted by candidates.

GATE 2024 Result Date

GATE result 2024 release date was March 16, 2024. IISc Bangalore announced the GATE 2024 result on its official website. However, the GATE Scorecard 2024 was made available at gate2024.iisc.ac.in on March 23, 2024. Candidates could download the GATE 2024 scorecard using their registered credentials. The GATE All India Ranks of the top scorers for all papers were released on the IISc Bangalore official website.

GATE 2024 Counselling & Seat Allotment Dates

GATE counselling dates 2024 were declared soon after the result announcement. IIT Kanpur commenced the GATE COAP counselling 2024 for admission to IITs on March 18, 2024. Candidates could register through the official website iitk.ac.in/coap2024. GATE COAP 2024 seat allotment Round 1 was released on May 13, Round 2 was released on May 20, and Round 3 was released on May 27, 2024. COAP 2024 counselling dates for Rounds 4 and 5 are June 2 and June 8, respectively.
On the other hand, GATE CCMT counselling 2024 registration started on May 24. SVNIT is the authority conducting the GATE counselling 2024 for admission to NITs this year.
