Gurugram University, established in 2017, is a multi-faculty university offering a wide range of academic programmes across five faculties and 19 departments. The main campus, located in Sector 51, Gurugram, is a sprawling 11.5-acre green oasis. Its 12,185 sq. mt. of campus area is a blend of serene beauty and modern facilities.

Students from outside the region can especially find the university unsuitable for them because of the lack of proper hostel accommodation.

Internships
Students at Gurugram University are actively encouraged to pursue summer internships for valuable corporate and research training. In 2023, nine engineering students secured internships at renowned IT companies such as Eco-Mail, Yoma Technologies, Airtel India, Consat Orahi, Cog Digital, and IP Integrated Services Pvt. Ltd. In May 2022, 17 MBA students were chosen for internships at Agile Capital Services, Uncanji, and Krg Strategy Consultants. In July 2022, 17 more MBA students had the opportunity to intern at the Times of India.
Placements
Based on student feedback, the Gurugram University placement scenario varies from course to course. For B.Tech students, approximately 85% secured placements in top companies like Airtel, Adobe, American Express, Byjus, and Swiggy, with the highest salary package offered ranging between Rs 12-13 LPA. The MBA course, however, has a lower placement rate, with the highest package being Rs 5 LPA. For M.Sc students, about 30% secure placements, with packages reaching up to Rs 15 LPA.
