NIFTEM B Tech Eligibility Criteria 2019

Candidates will have to meet the eligibility criteria of NIFTEM for B.Tech admissions. NIFTEM B.Tech eligibility criteria 2019 is given below:

• Candidates who have passed the 12th Exam or any other qualifying exam in the years 2017 or 2018 or those who are appearing for 12th exam in 2019 can apply for NIFTEM B.Tech.

• The applicant who appeared in class 12th examination or equivalent qualifying examination must secure at least 50% marks in all the relevant subjects.

• The candidate must have taken JEE (Main) 2018.

• If an applicant gets a compartment in the 10+2 examination, he/she will not be eligible for the B.Tech admission even if he/she manages to clear the exam (by appearing in the supplementary examination).

• At the time of admission, if any certificate does not mention the applicant's date of birth, then the applicant can also submit the date of birth as per high school/ pre-University certificate or the first board.

• In the absence of caste certificate, the candidate will not be entitled to any provisional admission in the reserved category.

NIFTEM B Tech selection process 2019 will be based on valid JEE Main scores and PI. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of JEE Main score and this will be added to the marks scored in the personal interview round conducted by the institute. The final selection for the shortlisted applicant will be based on GD/PI and the candidate's past academic record. The merit list will be available on the official website of NIFTEM.

NIFTEM B Tech Counselling 2019

• All admissions in NIFTEM B Tech Counselling 2019 will be made through an online counseling session.

• Counseling will depend on the number of available seats in the respective categories. The information regarding this will be available on the official website of the university.

• Admission to B.Tech is strictly on the basis of the applicant's performance in JEE Main.

• On the basis of JEE (Main), separate merit lists will be prepared for different categories before each counseling.

• A consent letter has to be submitted along with the category choice or else the applicant won’t be considered for the admission process.

• For the online counseling process, students will have to pay the admission fee via online e-transfer for provisional admission confirmation.

• Online counseling results will be available on the website and candidates will also be notified through email and SMS as per their contact details mentioned in the application form.

• After that, selected candidates will have to report to the university along with their parents/guardian as per the time and date mentioned.

• The seat allotment process will be confirmed only after all the original certificates/documents/fee payment have been verified.
