The eligibility criteria for Tamil Nadu MPT admission 2022 is as follows:

Eligibility Criteria for Service and Non- Service Candidates

In addition to the above eligibility, service and non-service candidates are expected to meet the following eligibility criteria:

Eligibility for Service Candidates

• Need to be B.P.T. graduates who regularly serve in the Tamil Nadu Medical Service and have completed their 2-years of service by 30th April 2022.

• B.P.T. graduates who are approved probationers who serve in local bodies by 30th April 2022 and have completed 2-years of service can also apply

Eligibility for Non-Service Candidates

• Must be a B.P.T. graduate who works in the agencies of the Government of India in Tamil Nadu and a public sector undertaking an organisation under the control of the Government of India in Tamil Nadu

• B.P.T. graduates who have not been appointed by the TNPSC / MRB and serve solely under the temporary category in the Tamil Nadu Medical Service / Local Bodies are also eligible

• B.P.T Graduates working in the private sector can also apply

• Start filling the application form by entering all the details

• In addition to the filled-in online application form, candidates will also have to submit the printout of filled–in online application form (hard copy) with the necessary documents

• The cost of the application 1000/- (non-refundable) can be paid via online mode

• A copy of the receipt of payment paid by the candidates online should be sent along with the application form

• At last, candidates should submit the print out of the filled-in online application form with necessary documents to the address mentioned below:-

Documents Required for Tamil Nadu MPT Admission 2022

Documents required for Tamil Nadu MPT Admission 2022 are as follows:

• BPT Certificate

• BPT Mark Sheet from First-year to Final year

• Valid Community certificate issued by the competent authority with the Office Seal and the date of issue

• Those who have qualified B.P.T. degree course from other Universities need to submit the Eligibility Certificate issued by The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University

• Nativity certificate with supportive Document (if applicable)

• Copy of Posting order (For service candidates)

• Payment Receipt

Tamil Nadu MPT Merit/ Rank List 2022

The Common Rank List for the M.P.T course will be prepared for a total mark of 100 by computing 90 marks for academics and 10 marks for the experience.

Calculation of Academic Marks:

The total obtained marks shall be divided on the basis of 90 marks and the weighted total marks shall be precisely calculated on the basis of two decimal places. A demonstration to calculate the academic marks is given below:

Total Marks- (2980/3600)*90= 74.50

• As of 30 April 2022, one mark for each completed year of experience will be calculated from the last date of the B.P.T. graduation month. A maximum of 10 marks will be awarded to both Service and Non-Service candidates as their experience mark

• For each year of government service in hilly areas, two marks will be awarded, and a maximum of 10 marks will be awarded depending on the candidate service

• The total marks awarded for experience will be limited to 10 marks for all candidates, including candidates from hilly regions

• In the case of two or more candidates receiving equal marks out of a total of 100 marks, the inter-merit shall be determined on the basis of the following factors:

a) The least number of appearances during the final semester / final year of the BPT examination.

b) Total marks gained during the final semester / final year of Examination of the BPT course.

c) Seniority by age

Tamil Nadu MPT Counselling 2022

• The final selection for the MPT course in Tamil Nadu will be done via counselling

• The counselling fee of Rs. 500/- (non-refundable) will have to pay through ONLINE mode via Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking

• Selection and admission of students to the seats earmarked as Government quota in Self-Financing and Government Aided Institutions will be subject to the Central and State Act and Rules proposed by the respective Government

• If the candidate is absent during the first phase of online counselling, they will be barred from the next round of counselling
