Ritoprasad is an expert in the field of Economics especially in the domain of Public Finance and International Economics. He joined CollegeDekho in the month of January, 2023 and since has been contributing in providing information related to the Engineering stream. Ritoprasad has completed his graduation in Economics from BJB Autonomous College, Bhubaneswar and is currently pursuing Masters in Sociology from IGNOU.  During his graduation in the stream of Economics he has worked on various projects for the college namely Crony Capitalism, Food Security in India where he was an integral part of the team collaborating with FAO and NABARD, Impact of Trade Liberalisation in India and its impact to name a few. During his college days, he was a follower of N.K. Singh, which impacted his studies and ultimately led to taking up Public Finance as a majors project in the final year of his college.  

He has a total experience of more than 4 years in the field of both Academic Content Writing and Content Writing. He started his journey as a subject matter expert in Economics after which he completely focused on Content Writing and has grown in this field. Prior to working with CollegeDekho, Ritoprasad has worked with two other organisations in the capacity of Content Writer and Senior Content Writer. Moreover, apart from the designations held, he has also served as a Team Leader in one of his previous organisations where he was instrumental in increasing the online presence of the company website by adding more visitors on a daily basis and publishing blogs that were continuously ranking on the first page of Google. He says that as a Team Leader he was more than happy as he witnessed each member grow individually which as a result contributed significantly to the growth of the company. Talking about one such incident, he says that a past team member from the same organisation whom he managed directly now works for Washington Post, where she claims that skills and ideas directed by Ritoprasad helped her in securing the job. Furthermore, he says that what more can a Team Leader expect from the “pack”!  As each of them has grown and is a part of well established organisations. 

On the professional front with years of experience Ritoprasad is skilled in Google Analytics, both On-Page and Off-Page SEO, Keyword Research, Blogging and Wordpress Blogs. In his career he has worked with various Wordpress softwares that are considered to be prerequisite for the Content Writing industry. Having worked under multiple domains, he believes that one should not be confined to one space but should explore every realm to develop understanding, gain knowledge and experience and strive towards being a Writer in itself. Additionally, he is keen in writing blogs and articles on Psychology and Human Emotions as he worked as a contributor with one such organisation in the past. Moreover, this helped him to understand human nature and feelings which were portrayed in his work as well. 

When it comes to hobbies, he likes to read articles on different subjects and topics that help him to grow and understand the various aspects of the world around. He is more keen in reading articles that are subjected to espionage stories to grasp an understanding of the geopolitical situations. Ritoprasad plans to create his own website where he will be publishing such articles on espionage heroes of India keeping in mind the secrecy and believes that this is one way to pay tribute to those Heroes of the Land. To keep himself motivated he watches videos and Ted Talks of heroes who have served for the country.   

To add to this segment, Ritoprasad has been active in various EdTech platforms and always in search for knowledge and active participation through writing. To compliment his plans and add value to his idea of creating a website of his own, he has completed a certificate course in “Global Diplomacy: Diplomacy in the Modern World” from the University of London and presently working on another certificate course on “Terrorism and Counter Terrorism in the Modern World” from the University of Leiden, Netherlands. He believes all these courses have shaped his mind and helped in developing an aptitude for writing for the unsung heroes.    

Ritoprasad has a disciplined nature and believes that through perseverance, discipline and commitment one can achieve anything in life. His positive attitude towards work and life and his adaptable nature is what sets him apart. His motto of being better than yesterday is what helps him to grow personally and professionally.
