"Fantasy is hardly an escape from reality. It's a way of understanding it "― Lloyd Alexander, a quote which is indeed very dear to Aarushi's heart. Aarushi would define herself in three words: ambitious, self-motivated, and a learner if given a chance. She has always been a self-driven and ambitious individual who does not believe in dreams but in defining short- and long-term goals and working hard to fulfil them on time. She has a long history and connection with writing and reading and has always been captivated by the power of fiction and fantasy, such as Harry Potter and Marvel comics.

Aarushi owes her profound love of reading to renowned authors such as J.K Rowling, Stan Lee, Jane Austen, Thomas Hardy, Ian McEwan, and Jojo Moyes. She began writing as a hobby at the age of 13 and has never looked back. Her articles were included in the school's yearly magazine. She has dabbled in poetry, and her work has been featured in newspapers such as The Times of India, Student's Edition, and The Hindustan Times. Aarushi's first love is writing, but she soon discovered her passion for aviation.

As a result, after studying Commerce with Maths in classes 11 and 12, she went on to pursue a degree in Bachelors in Business Administration with a specialisation in Aviation Operations. She studied the course for three years at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, UPES, in Dehradun.

She also holds an IATA Diploma - Foundation in Travel and Tourism with Amadeus. Aarushi never stopped writing during her college years. She has completed multiple internships at several aviation-related organisations, where she worked on content marketing for various products and services. Aarushi was also given the University's Silver Medal for ranking first in her domain. She is presently expanding her education and career by getting an MBA degree in Digital Marketing, a joint degree by Amity University and Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.

As an IATA-certified expert, Aarushi has a great eye for detail for various study abroad destinations such as Australia, Canada, Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and others. She joined CollegeDekho in 2022 as a Senior Content Writer after nearly working for two years with another organisation, where she began working in the field of study abroad at the age of 20.

When not working, Aarushi enjoys talking about various Netflix series, movies, books, Marvel, cryptos, different cafés, food, and anything random while sipping her favourite coffee. She enjoys hosting parties and acting as a barista for those who share the same passion for coffee. She aspires to start her own coffee business when she grows old. She also likes to scribble her emotions every now and then and puts her words out to read on her Instagram account.

Apart from coffee and scribbling, Aarushi has excellent taste in music. She enjoys discovering and listening to the music and lyrics of underrated artists and performers. Moreover, Aarushi is an ordinary woman with not-so-ordinary thoughts, tastes, and preferences in life! She aspires to travel the world all by herself where she can explore the culture, art, lifestyle, traditions, food and wilderness of different destinations.
