Have worked in multiple industries and developed content for prominent verticals like the first government portal of India - India.gov.in, travel giant - MakemyTrip.com, Digital business - HT Digital & ed-tech start-up Collegedekho.com to generate traffic, build the brand, and increase traffic & viewership. A graduate from Miranda House, University of Delhi, India’s Best College for 3 years in a row now, I also hold a Post Graduate degree in Journalism & Mass Communication.

Seasoned with the knowledge of online writing, Jayita has mastered the art of writing for varied fields like travel and tourism, education, e-commerce and government-related data. As my capacity of a writer for the government portal – india.gov.in, I have researched and drafted content for several verticals like Communications, Foreign Affairs, Infrastructure, Law & Justice, Science & Technology, Travel & Tourism, Art & Culture, Defence, Information & Broadcasting, Power & Energy, Social Development, Youth & Sports, Education, Health & Family Welfare, Labour & Employment and Transport.

Presently, I work with Collegedekho, India’s largest admission & counselling platform. Here, I am a Content & Editorial strategist specialising in Content Management, Social Media & Marketing Management and Corporate Communications.  I have conceptualised & executed 700+ video content across social media platforms like Facebook & Youtube.com.

In my capacity handling PR, I have organised & executed Education Conclaves in Delhi & Rajasthan addressing topics on  ‘Higher Education in India’. In association with several agencies, I have also handled the company’s PR in several publications in print, digital & TV.  I have been instrumental in leading the company to partner with a leading digital news agency “The Quint” as their “Knowledge Partner”.

My experience, research and content building strategies has led to increasing in traffic on the site by 200%. Business requirements aside, providing correct information to our users so that they can make an informed decision on their career are one of my most satisfying achievements.
