The second round of TS EAMCET 2020 counselling is set to begin from October 31, and the Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) has revised the eligibility criteria. Candidates who have a minimum of 35% marks in Intermediate are eligible to participate in the counselling process. Earlier, the minimum qualifying mark was 40% for SC/ST and 45% for General/ OBC. The revised eligibility that allows candidates with 35% of marks for B.Tech, B.Pharma and B.Sc Agriculture shall be applicable only for the academic session 2020-21.
On the other hand, the Government of Telangana confirmed that it is not possible to hold the supplementary exams for the students who failed Inter 2 nd year this year. All the students who failed to clear Inter 2 nd year exams were declared pass with 35% of marks. A pass certificate will be provided to these candidates. All these candidates are eligible to participate in Round 2 counselling of TS EAMCET as well.
TSCHE has also confirmed that it will allocate ranks to the 333 candidates who have scored minimum qualifying marks in TS EAMCET 2020 and failed to score 45% or 40% in Intermediate Exams 2020. The rank card for these candidates can be downloaded through the official website of TS EAMCET from October 31. The Round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on November 04, 2020.
