Many campuses in Ahmedabad won awards and prizes for various competitions in multiple fields. First prize of Rs. 1 lakh in Devang Mehta IT Award has been bagged by a team of SAL Institute of Technology . The team had 5 people: Nishant Pandya, Vatsal Jadav, Harsh Chudasama, Ashish Kadiya and Manisha Boi. They were thoroughly being guided by a faculty Kaushal Patel and their project was about ‘Vehicle Motion Air and Renewable Energy’.
A PhD research scholar, Krishna Bhalodi from Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University ; recently received the Chief Minister Fellowship. The award was granted under Shodh Yojana scheme of Gujarat Govt. She was thoroughly guided by Dr Charmy S Kothari who is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis.
A team of geniuses from CEPT University developed a handbook, which focuses on the planning of the local area around transit in cities. It was led by Dr Rutul Joshi and launched by Durga Shanker Mishra on 5th August.

GTU is granted the title of being the “Most trusted State University” by International Brand Consulting Corporation, USA. The award was granted by the Vice-Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technology to the Vice-Chancellor of GTU University.

The Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering field at IIT Gandhinagar has been selected as the International Desalination Association (IDA) 2019. He will be able to visit and view UA’s partner utilities. He aims to strive to find out solutions to the ongoing challenges of water and energy technologies.
