The government of Andhra Pradesh has come up with new guidelines for M.Sc Nursing Admissions in the state.Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada issued a notification stating the implementation of a uniform procedure for admission to the M.Sc Nursing course in Andhra Pradesh.
AP M.Sc Nursing Admission Guidelines (New) 2020
The new guidelines for M.Sc Nursing admission in Andhra Pradesh are as follows:
Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences will release the dates and centers at which selection will be made to the course.
The selection of the AP M.Sc Nursing course will be done separately for service as well as non-service seats.
As per the new guidelines, both local and non-local candidates will be eligible for unreserved seats.
Firstly, all the OC seats in a specialty in all the colleges will be filled and then the reserved category seats will be filled.
A reserved category candidate selected under OC seats in a college for M.Sc Admissions in AP will be permitted to slide into the same specialisation to another college. The seat will be filled with the candidate of the same reserved category.
A reserved category candidate selected under OC and does not join the specialization, in that case, the vacant seat will be treated as OC and will be filled through counselling.
The new guideline for AP M.Sc admission also states that the provisional selection will be done by the Selection Committee constituted by the varsity. The selection intimation will be issued by specifying the date by which the candidate as to report to the respective college as a part of the final admission.'
In case of unfilled seats for M.Sc admission in AP are available after completion of 2nd counseling, such seats will be filled as is being followed in case of PG courses of Allopathic Medicine.
