DKTE Institute organised its Annual Social Programme which included fun activities like dance, fashion shows etc. Dr.Ambedkar Jayanti was also celebrated along with sports day. The students enthusiastically participated in the event.
"Uaddan- 2016" Dance Competetion
"Uaddan- 2016" was celeratd which included traditional, western, solo dance performances by the students
- 'Malhar group won the first prize in the Traditional Dance' category.
- Final T. T. won in the 'Western Dance' category.
- Bhagyashree Patil won in the 'Solo Dance' category. she performed 'Bharat Natyam' .
- ''Extra Vyagenjha Group' won the Best theme awards.
The program had a good response from parents and students.
Annual Sports Day-
'Annual Sports Day' was celebrated on 25th March 2016 as a part of Annual Social Gathering. Prizes were distributed to the winners in various sports events conducted by Institute. Students who have won prizes at Zonal, Inter-Zonal and National level were also felicitated byPrincipal Prof. Dr. P. V. Kadole & All HOD’s from various departments.
Fashion show-
Fashion show “GLOIRE-2K16” took place on 26th March 2016 as a part of Annual Social Gathering. Various rounds such as Traditional, Casual and Formal were conducted on themes like - A Tribute, Festivals around the World, Clowns', Geometric Shapes ,Military Band and Marching Band. The contestants came out with a theme that reflected through the costumes, music and the general mood of the event.The event received an overwhelming response from the audience.
Commemorate 125th Birth Anniversary of 'Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Blood Donation Programme-
To commemorate 125th Birth Anniversary of 'Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar' , a Blood Donation Camp was organized on 26th March 2016 at DKTE. The institute is celebrating Annual Social Gathering from 25th March to 27th March. Blood Donation Camp was the part of Social Event and more than 200 bottles of blood were donated by students and staff of institute enthusiastically. The event was inaugurated at the auspicious hands of Governing Council Member Mr.Sunil Patil.
