Bangalore University Semester Exams Postponed:
Bangalore University has postponed has postponed the Semester II and IV exams that are scheduled to be conducted on September 29 due to Karnataka Bandh. On September 29, a state-wide bandh is being organized by various associations against the Cauvery water issue. As there is a higher possibility for the disruption of public transport, Bangalore University has decided to postpone the exam scheduled on September 29.
The official notice released by the university reads that ‘The semester II and IV degree exams which are scheduled to be held on September 29 are postponed due to Karnataka Bandh and it is rescheduled to September 30’.

The students must note that the postponed exams of September 29 will take place on September 30. On the other hand, other exams that are scheduled as per the timetable will be conducted as per the pre-decided schedule. As the students got an extra day, they can utilize the same for exam preparation.

Vijayanagara Sri Krishadevaraya University has decided to postpone the semester exams scheduled on September 29
. The public transport services in Karnataka are likely to be affected on September 29 due to the bandh call. Various associations including Ola and Uber have extended their support.
As various universities are postponing the semester exams scheduled on September 29,
Karnataka schools might also declare a holiday on September 29
. Official information will be provided to students by the respective educational institutes.
