Bhartiya Skill Development University Bags Best Skill University Award 2019

Bhartiya Skill Development University Jaipur (BSDU) has received the Best Skill University Award 2019. BSDU was one of the very first universities in the country which introduced the Swiss Dual system of education.

Prof. Achintya Choudhury, Registrar BSDU and Direct Admissions, Dr Ravi Kumar Goyal received the prestigious award on the behalf of the entire university. They expressed their happiness regarding the same and said that they are honoured to be recognised as the Best Skill University in India.Dr. Ravi Kumar Goyal said that is the effort of their Chairman & Founder Dr Rajendra Kumar Joshi who thought of introducing the Swiss Dual System. The Swiss Dual system pays equal attention to practical on-the-job training along with the theoretical training.

Many eminent personalities such as Mr. Rakesh Ranjan, CEO and Advisor of HFZA, Govt.of Sharjah. Mr Vipul, the Consulate General of India in UAE, Director General of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Mr Abdelaziz Mohamed Shattaf, Managing Director of GTCS Global were a part of the award ceremony.

The award ceremony was a part of Dialogue India Conclave 2019 where many dignitaries from both India and UAE came together and discussed the Indian educational institutions and the education system. The main agenda of the discussion was to come up with the ways to bridge the gap between the industry trends and the skilled Indian workforce. Many investors from Dubai talked about the investment opportunities in India through Indian higher education institutes.

Dr Rajendra Kumar is the founder of the Bhartiya Skill Development University. He also received the Global Inspirational Icon in Skill Education Award during the Dialogue India Conclave 2019 for his outstanding contribution towards the importance of skill education. His main focus area was to come up with such an Education System that not only focuses on theoretical knowledge but on the practical knowledge as well.
