Bihar Teacher Vacancy 2023: Opening For More Than 2 Lakh Primary Teachers in State

Bihar Teacher Vacancy 2023: Bihar Public Service Commission has announced the Bihar Teacher Vacancy 2023 for more than 2 lakh vacancies of government Teacher posts in various subjects on 25th December 2022. As a part of the 1 million government job mission of the Bihar Government, the commission has declared to recruit almost 2 lakh primary teachers in various educational facilities of the state. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the Bihar Teacher Recruitment 2023 on the official website soon after the notification is out.

As per the official announcement, BPSC will initiate the seventh phase of appointment anytime soon in the upcoming new year. In this phase, eighty thousand primary teachers, 44 thousand secondary teachers and ninety thousand senior-secondary (+2) teachers will be appointed. The Bihar Teacher Vacancy 2023 notification will be released for the next phase on the official website @bpsc.bih.nic.in along with the eligibility criteria, application dates, and other vacancy details

BPSC Teacher Recruitment 2023

The commission has announced that a total of 1800 schools in the state have been upgraded to Inter schools and require new teaching staff for the academic year 2023-24. Bihar state government is focusing on the foundational upgrade of the educational infrastructure in the state from the elementary schools itself. Keeping that in mind, the renovation of 15653 school buildings has been completed so far out of 15941 primary schools in the state of Bihar.

Out of these 2 lakh vacancies of teachers, around 80,000 posts are for primary teachers, 44,000 posts for secondary teachers, and 90,000 posts for senior secondary teachers will be offered to deserving teaching professionals.

Additionally, 40,506 posts for Head Teachers, 4638 posts for Assistant professors, and 6000 posts for Physical Education teachers will be filled in the next year.
