BML Munjal UniversityBML Munjal University: Popularly known as BMU, the BML Munjal University has come up with a unique thought of creative teaching as it launched The School of Liberal Studies on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. The idea of this school strengthens the vision of the university and enhances a broader perspective of the students in various disciplines of studies simultaneously. This revolutionary educational scheme includes courses in Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, and Arts and Humanities. In this deeply researched curriculum, the students will not only learn the concepts and theories but also be empowered to find solutions by practically applying them in the common days. With the advancement of technology and globalisation, the University felt to widen the scope of knowledge by introducing some fusion courses in this School of Liberal Studies.
School of Liberal Studies in BML Munjal University
Named after the late Founder and Charman of Hero Group, BML Munjal University has always provided its students with new-age strategies for learning. As per the University’s vision, there shall be no bar on knowledge for anyone who is curious. In the newly launched BMU School of Liberal Studies, the students will be trained in Industry-relevant skills and the focus on their overall cognitive development will be encouraged. The university will provide a newly designed four-year B.A (Hons) Degree in multiple disciplines.
School of Liberal Studies BMU Highlights
As per the announcement, the university will offer the introductory undergraduate course in BA (Hons) as of now and will increase the number of disciplines till the next academic year:
The School of Liberal Studies (SoLS) at BMU offers a four-year B.A. (Hons) having a unique fourth-year exit option for the students.
Some of the introductory domains under the School of Liberal Studies will be Reason and Logic, Thinking Like a Sociologist, Self and Identity, Introduction to Economics, History of Science, Data Literacy and more.
The School will invite an Industry-based learning approach and will invite various experienced academicians and experts to teach.
All programmes are in compliance with the UGC regulations and fulfil all required guidelines.
