The Bombay HC Bench at Nagpur took up the hearing on the Urgent Plea seeking postponement of JEE Main and NEET 2020 exam in flood-affected areas. The candidates must note that the plea is only applicable for Maharashtra state, and it sought the postponement of the exam only in flood-affected areas. On August 31, 2020, Uday Samant - Minister of Higher and Technical Education of Maharashtra tweeted that the flood situation, specifically in regions like Vidarbha will not cause any academic loss to students, and those who are not able to appear for JEE Main exam need not worry.
