CBSE 12th result 2022: Merit Certificate to be Issued to Students with Highest Marks in Subjects

CBSE has released the 12th result 2022 today, on July 22, 2022 in online mode- at the official website. In 2022, the Board will issue the merit certificate for the candidates, who have scored the highest marks in the subjects. Nonetheless, the Board initially declared not to publish a merit list to avoid unhealthy competition among the candidates. However, this year the Board will not release the awarding list for First, second and third division to the students. This year, CBSE will also give the facility to the candidates, as provided in the previous years to get their marks verified, obtained the photocopy and the re-evaluation.

As per the CBSE Officials, 30% weightage has to be considered to Term 1 and 70% weightage to term 2 exam. A total of 92.71% students qualified this year CBSE Class 12 Term 2 exam 2022. This year, the girls performance level outshined the boys performance level by 3.29%.

CBSE Class 12 Result 2022: Overall Pass Percentage (Year Wise)

Compared to the previous year, in 2022, the overall passing percentage has decreased. In 2021, the overall passing percentage was 99.37%. Trivandrum, Kerala recorded the highest pass percentage at 98.83% this year. Approximately 33,000 students got above 95% marks whereas a total of 1.34 lakh candidates got 90% marks. Approximately 4.72% students will appear for the Compartment exam, which will be started from August 23, 2022.
