The thickness of a conductor continuously decreases from its one end (A) to another end (B). It is connected across the terminals of a battery. What will be the effect on the value of

Section E: Case-Based Question
- With the help of a diagram, explain the working of a moving coil galvanometer. Justify the necessity of using radial magnetic field in it.
- A galvanometer can be converted into a voltmeter to measure up to
- V volt by connecting a resistance of 2 kW in series with the galvanometer.
- 2 V volt by connecting a resistance 5 kW in series with the galvanometer.
Calculate the resistance that should be connected in series with the galvanometer to convert it into a voltmeter to measure up to V/2 volt.
